I can’t continue working: the project is compiling, but, apparently, no hotreload occurs. LogWindows: FPlatformMisc::RequestExit(1) LogWindows:Error: HandleError re-entered. The program throws a fit, as a result, and that's the Pure Virtual Function Call error. So, instead of asking for the program to run a calculation through AddThesePlease(), he asked it to run them through AddThisPlease(), which doesn't exist. It could be that the Declaration line got simply the name of the function wrong, because it's sitting in some other file that the programmer wasn't looking at, right at that moment. Computers don't like this.ĭon't worry about the rest ) Just look at it this way. You send the values of X and Y to a function later on on in the program so it can perform the calculation.but the requested function isn't actually there at all, so the calculation cannot be made. In other words, Say you wanna know what X+Y equals. The problem being, in this case, that the calculation that's meant to be performed, was never actually put in there/defined. In the instructions given to the computer, you have to have a line in there that says "Hey, I want you to send these parameters to a function/formula, in order to calculate something for me, then send back the final result." This is the declaration he mentioned.
